How the adoption process works:
  • Come in and see the animals during our open hours or set up an appointment
  • Fill out an adoption application and have a conversation with one of our staff members 
  • We except payment by Card, Cash and Check 
  • You must be at least 18 to adopt an animal  
*Be sure to bring a Cat carrier when adopting!

 Important notes:
  •  If an adoptable pet is still in need of getting spayed/neutered - you will be required to bring them back to Little Falls for that procedure on their scheduled day. More details will be provided upon adoption.
  • All animals at the shelter must reach the age of 8 weeks before they can leave the shelter

She really likes other female cats and she likes people but needs time to get used to you - so don't worry if she takes some time to herself when you take her home.

Dewy, a boy that loves affection but pretends he doesn't, is the brother of Faye! He is shy, sweet, and a little sassy! He and Faye are in the same position of needing time to get used to people, in this picture you can see he became trusting of our kennel attendants but it took some time to get him to this point. He will need a home that can supply him with quiet and space for the first couple of weeks he is there while he warms up to you and your family.

Smokey is a lean, lovin’ machine! She’s quite the mover so pictures are… the best she will allow them to be for you! Smokey was very shy when we first met her but she has quickly became the personality of the lobby! She seems to like the other cats and to snuggle! But when she’s not doing that, she is on her own adventure and can keep herself entertained with her exploration! Smokey would be great for any forever family!

This unique little lady is Dutchess. You might notice something different about her facial features, and that is because she has a special little mouth with a lack of a top lip. She is able to eat, drink, and play like any other cat - she just looks interesting! She is a beautiful girl with a big personality! Barley is a special boy with no tail and a slightly hindering special need. Barley is unable to use litter at the moment and has pads that get changed out - he also MUST be on a special diet. Barley is a sweet boy who loves people but does not do well with other animals from what we can tell. If you are interested in taking in Barley by adopting or fostering please give us a call!​
Lorelai
Lorelai is a gorgeous girl with a tiny body and big personality! She is big on snuggles and adores her playtime and is good with other cats! She has very unique features and is practically pocket sized! If you are wanting to help Lorelai but aren’t ready to adopt you can become a sponsor for her and help her get adopted faster! We also accept foster applications! Otherwise if you are ready to take this little lady home for good give us a call or stop in during our open hours!
Oliver
​This tank is Oliver! He was surrendered to us and is looking for his forever home! Oliver is a gentle giant and weighs in at about 14 pounds. He really seems to like other cats and he really likes people! We are still learning more about him as he gets used to us but it does seem he is going to be a goofy boy for his new family!
Thelma
Thelma is waiting to have her babies but she will be available after they get old enough! She is a sweet girl with the softest fur in the whole world! This beautiful mama will be waiting for you soon!
Smurf
Meet Smurf! At about one year old, this little girl is full of affection, love, and curiosity! While she is tiny, she is mighty! Smurf loves to play, eat treats, and cuddle and seems to do well with other cats! We aren't sure quite yet how she does with dogs. Smurf's silky black fur makes for some of the softest pets your hand will ever be graced with! Come meet this little girl during our open hours or call us to set up an appointment!
FIREFLY
This beautiful girl is firefly! Not only does she have the most unique tortoiseshell markings, but she also has a uniquely loving personality! She is an absolute lover and adores everyone she meets! She seems to get along with other feline friends as well! Firefly is ready for her forever family!
CATERPILLAR
This pretty little girl is Caterpillar! Sister to Dragonfly! She is a solid black beauty with a zest for playtime and her love language by far is physical touch. Caterpillar, while tiny, is a bundle of energy and a void of unconditional love! Caterpillar is ready for her forever family!
NEBULA
Nebula is a gorgeous mother of 5 beautiful babies and is currently with a foster family while she is nursing. In a few weeks she will be ready to settle down with her own family! Nebula is a young mother with a zest for cuddles and attention. She is a sweet girl with so much love to give!
BASHFUL
